What do We Believe?
Today my message is entitled “What do We Believe?” We just spent the first two months of 2019 looking at the book of Philippians, a letter from the Apostle Paul to the Christian church in Philippi. Paul very clearly tells them what he believes about God and encourages them to follow Jesus Christ in their lives. Now for us – what do we believe?
Be Content in all Things
Today my message is entitled “Be Content in all Things!” As we finish our look at the book of Philippians, we see that not only are we to live with joy in all our circumstances, we are to be content in those circumstances as well. Paul clearly tells the church in Philippi to look at how Christ lived and do likewise.
Do Not be Anxious
As we continue our look at the book of Philippians, we see that we are to live with joy in all our circumstances. In fact, we are to shine that joy so bright that we light up the world around us. We are encouraged to trust God and not worry over everything. Our lives should show people that they can rely on God to work in their lives too.
Our Goal is Christ Likeness
Today my message is entitled “Our Goal is Christ Likeness!” As we continue to look at the book of Philippians, we are encouraged to follow the example of Paul in the quest for Christ-like living and to stand firm in that life. I want to help you discover the power and joy that is available when you allow the love of God to overcome you and Jesus to take over your life and the Holy Spirit to indwell you.
Our Walk Here, Our Hearts There
As we continue to look at the book of Philippians, we see that we are to live with joy in all our circumstances. In fact, we have a task to do here even though we desire to be with God. Paul shares his walk that God gave him and encourages us to find our walk given from God.
Shine Like Stars as Lights to the World
Today my message is entitled “Shine Like Stars as Lights to the World!” Henrietta Mears put it this way: “We Are Luminaries for God in a Dark Age!” As we continue to look at the book of Philippians, we see that we are to live with joy in all our circumstances. In fact, we are to shine that joy so bright that we light up the world around us.
Following the Servant Attitude of Christ
Today my message is entitled “Following the Servant Attitude of Christ!” We started on the book of Philippians this month and have looked at chapter one so far. Today we start on chapter two and how Paul encouraged the Philippians to have Christ’s attitude.
They Cannot Imprison the Message
Today my message is entitled “They Cannot Imprison the Message!” We are walking through the book of Philippians to try to capture what the early church was like and what the early Christians did with their lives. The Apostle Paul is the author of this very personal letter to the Philippian believers. Paul spent a lot of his life in prison for his faith and yet the message he was sharing got out and around to change lives.
Joy When It Is Least Expected
Today my message is entitled “Joy When It Is Least Expected!” We are taking a run through the book of Philippians this month to see what the Apostle Paul says to the Philippians and how it still might apply to us almost 2000 years later.
From the Cradle to Eternity Via the Cross
Today my message is entitled “From the Cradle to Eternity Via the Cross.” We have just spent five Sundays looking at the birth of Jesus Christ and why it happened. God wanted to reconnect with mankind and make that relationship available easily is what we discovered. Now we sum these weeks up and look at where it leads for the new year.
Love One Another
Today my message is entitled “Love One Another!” The theme for today is “Love”, and I want to look at God’s love for us and what God wants us to do with His love.
The Joyful Kingdom
Today my message is entitled The Joyful Kingdom. This is the third advent Sunday, and our keyword is “Joy.” I will be looking at God’s kingdom of joyful people.
Jesus said, ‘My Peace I Give You!’
We can place our hope in Jesus Christ because He alone is the bridge to being with God almighty for eternity. Over the past few months as we looked at the Ten Commandments, we saw how God loves us and why Jesus came to earth to restore our relationship with God, which had been destroyed by mankind’s going astray from God’s plan for man.
